How We Work As Electric Gate Fitters
Before The Installation
The first step to electric gate fitting is to find out what gates you would like. You can visit our showroom to see samples and discuss your project with us. We are pleased to offer a personalised service by visiting you at your property to discuss your requirements, and this will enable us to take photographs of the area where the gates will be installed, which will be used to provide you with a quotation. This will be provided free of charge and with no obligation to go forward with us. We also work up a design model at this stage, which we can show using photography, so you can see what it will look like once complete.
The Installation Process
When you have decided that you would like us to proceed with the work on the basis of the given quotation, we will require a 60% deposit to confirm the job. We will discuss the timing with you and send off the design to our gate manufacturer and suppliers so that your gates can begin to take form. Legally, you are entitled to a 14-calendar day cooling-off period, should you change your mind from accepting the quotation. If you cancel, you will be given a full refunded within this time-frame. Otherwise, once work commences, you won’t be able to get any money back. If you want to waive this time period, for example, if it is a matter of urgency, then you can write to us to start work sooner. We will be in contact before the installation date to confirm everything is ready to go, as the work can be weather-dependent and the date may be subject to change. A fully-qualified engineer will fit your gates and discuss how they work once the job is complete. You will then need to pay the remainder of the amount once we have sent you the invoice.
Following completion of your project, we provide a manufactures’’ guarantee, which means that we will continue to support you within the given timeframe (usually between 12-24 months). Any faults that may arise during this time will be fixed free of charge. After this period, we can discuss options to be part of a servicing and maintenance plan at an additional cost.
